Thermaltake TR2 W0319RU 850W Modular Cable Management Power Supply Reviews

The Thermaltake Black Widow 850W power supply just looks cool! Too bad it'll remain hidden in your case. Sturdily built, it’s SLI and Dual-Core ready, but really shines in CrossFire testing! Most important in any PSU is the 12V rail supply. Most components pick up off of that rail. The Toughpower has four separate +12V rails so you're guaranteed crisp, clean power delivery. Each one of these four rails can handle 18 Amps of overload before a safety shutdown occurs.

Antec EarthWatts 750 Watt ATX12v v2.3 Power Supply Reviews

Great Power Supply 3/18/2010
By Ajamison

Pros: Very sturdy, solid in design and the modular cabling makes managing a changing hardware configuration very easy.

I would recomend this to anyone looking for a good 750W power supply well worth the money.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Wish that it had more cable connections for PCIe and SATA devices. I imagine this is possible through purchase of a new modual cable but out of the box seems very limited. However due to the modular nature of this unit this can be corrected easily so no egg loss here.

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V power supply Reviews

Best PSU ive ever owned, January 7, 2010
By Sean Burge

I was putting together a phenom II build last year and my local brick and mortar was having a sale on a Cooler Master 500w power supply. It was around 35 dollars which was a steal for that kinda power so naturally I picked it up looking to save a couple bucks. After installing all components, the system was good to go so I booted up. Nothing. Silence. No fans buzzed, no drives booted. As I'm sure you guessed the cooler master was doa. After returning the cooler master I went with a more sound investment. I sucked it up and paid the extra money and I couldnt be happier. Right out of the box the Corsair 750w was impressive. Heavy, solid, beautiful black matte finish (orange text sets it off as well). Even the cables are wrapped in black nylon. And about the cables. There are more than you will ever need. Four 6 pins so any Sli/Crossfire setup you throw at it is no problem. I stopped counting the SATA connectors, there were so many. Sits in the case beautifully and is always cool to the touch. Buy this PSU.
