CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V power supply Reviews

Best PSU ive ever owned, January 7, 2010
By Sean Burge

I was putting together a phenom II build last year and my local brick and mortar was having a sale on a Cooler Master 500w power supply. It was around 35 dollars which was a steal for that kinda power so naturally I picked it up looking to save a couple bucks. After installing all components, the system was good to go so I booted up. Nothing. Silence. No fans buzzed, no drives booted. As I'm sure you guessed the cooler master was doa. After returning the cooler master I went with a more sound investment. I sucked it up and paid the extra money and I couldnt be happier. Right out of the box the Corsair 750w was impressive. Heavy, solid, beautiful black matte finish (orange text sets it off as well). Even the cables are wrapped in black nylon. And about the cables. There are more than you will ever need. Four 6 pins so any Sli/Crossfire setup you throw at it is no problem. I stopped counting the SATA connectors, there were so many. Sits in the case beautifully and is always cool to the touch. Buy this PSU.
Where to Buy

A power supply well worth the hype, December 1, 2009

You feel confident about the product the moment you lay eyes on this one. Some products just have it. Corsair 750TX comes with great packaging and has all the necessary connectors in-built, by default. Though the box comes with many types of adapters, you will most probably not need them as for example, the four 8 pin PCI Express x16 come in a 6 + 2 detachable format. So when my video card required one 8 pin and the other 6 pin adapter, I did not have to use a converter. The huge fan at the bottom provides more than enough cooling and airflow for that PSU. Perhaps the most subtly convenient power-supply you can find if you decide to assemble your system yourself. Robust.

This Power supply is a great power supply, its 750W PSU, its quiet, the Customer service is wonderful I had this item replaced once because there a was click noise coming from the fan in the PSU but they replaced it and I got it back within a week, they replaced it with a BRAND NEW in the original box unit, I really like Corsairs Customer Service. I have other products with them and they are always helpful anytime you need it. I HIGHLY recommend this PSU to anyone, I am running a Intel i7 920 CPU, XFX 9800 GTX+ video card, with 6gb 1600mhz of ram on a ASUS p6t motherboard, I have6 fans in my case and the CORSAIR h50 CPU cooler unit also and it all runs great.
